greetings premier league, looking forward to another great season and of course some highly competitive matches. st james fc have just completed their altitude training and the lads look ripped. some new faces and some additional new training balls all makes well for a top 4 goal.

Thought i'd try and put a bit of a pressure on the lads new to the premier league by predicting the top 4.

Think it'll be Grant, Nk, courtesans and creekers finishing in the top 4 with Buddy love falling away as he goes for the overall. I'll come a respectable, yet unspectacular 8th

Looking forward to a VERY challanging season. Last year I had the issue of pulling the trigger too earlt with trades due to tough competition in div 1, don't know how I am not going to do the same again this year in premier!!!

The lads from Maulville are champing at the bit for season 2014 after being pipped at the post last season (by pipped, I mean thrashed). The pain of a GF loss will be sure to spur the boys on this year to go one better.

In other words, I'll likely be battling relegation

My boys had a bit of an extended break partying it up in Thailand with the ladyboys. Now is the time they have buckled up and begun their pre-season training.

An honour to be part of the premier league. The boys from the Creek are keen and currently just entering there pre season. Friday night training is always a worry though.

    Top 4 predictions.

    1. BuddyLove. Almost impossible to beat this guy. Professional coach who always seems to have prems on the bench and rookies on the field and always pays off. Just when you think you have him beat, all of a sudden another prem turns up on a Sunday game to defeat you. The K Sheedy off coaching.

    2. Impromptu. Time for the former premiership coach to return to his best. Always expect the unexpected with Jay. Will be interesting to see his starting team. Think Pav will be there again along with Danger and Jay wont have to trade out either this season. Old Newmo could also make a guest appearance at some stage or has Jay got a new love child - Adcock maybe.

    3. The Muppets. Word around the traps is Maso has put the Muppets through a huge pre season. A better run with injury and if Maso can save a few trades. The Muppets are sure to feature in the finals.

    4. Grants Greats. Grant was so unlucky in divi 1 last season, very consistent, just got the wrong opposition on the wrong weeks. Will put Grants season down to a bad fixture and some badly timed injury's. Looking forward to seeing Grants opening team, will no doubt be a ripper.

Some heavy hitting coaches in this league and keen to throw my hat into the ring. looking forward to the up coming season and good luck to all.

lol... I'm not playing any leagues this year (except draft leagues) however, I will look on from time to time , to see how your Muppets are going.

Bairnsdale Muppets no.1 ticket holder on board...lol
Hopefully in your last season as coach you win the league premiership and make them people way out yonder, in the sticks happy
Play as Yarrawonga Wizards Fantasy Football Club in a salary cap keeper league and coming off our 2nd premiership as Pirates in FDL

In Supercoach in 2015 ended about 15K in rankings from memory.

I think I'm the North Melbourne of our league. Predicted top 4 by people but yet to prove I'm worthy of such a high assessment.

Going for the overall makes leagues so hard to predict. I'll just be happy to scrape into the top 8 in such a hard field.

Was right up there on the luck ladder (i think it was called) for a good part of the year, managing to win against the odds on more than one occasion

I reckon the league will be bloody tough this year with maybe 8 points separating 8th and last (which is hopefully not me!).

Very early I know but where do we need to finish to hold our spot or..ahem, move up to the champions league (not even sure if that's do-able?)

Just not when it counted against the might of Maulamania in the Prelim finals huh IDIG? Try as you may to have erased it from your mind during the loooooooong off-season you and your boys had, it's in the history books my friend. It's in the history books. Lol

To be fair, I think I may have well and truly overtaken you on the Luck Ladder come season end... Think I'm going to need more than my fair share this year again.

Well I hate to point it out, but my username kinda seems most appropriate and says it all really... I sense the opposite may well eventually occur however, but surely optimism is worth at least 5 wins headstart???
