Yeah. Looking like you just narrowly lose.
I'll finish probably on 2450 with Hugh Goddard playing, Pity I could not loophole Shaun Edwards down back. He nearly tonned up.
I'm likely to lose McGovern again so I'll probably be stuck with Ablett, McGovern and Shane Edwards on bench.
You will be favourites for sure but hopefully I can give you a run for your money.

    hmmm. Looks like you do.
Damn, was hoping to play you with maybe Buddy out to almost even up premiums on bench.
If I play Ricky Bobby it will be tougher. He has less players injured to carry.
He probably gets Lids back next week as I lose McGovern.
Oh well. Least I lasted a week longer than I expected.
Probably 10% chance of an upset next week.

Good luck Maso. Off to the prelim's for your Muppets

    lol.. I am confused.
I thought you had Newnes. It is Ricky Bobby that has him.
You look to have Alex Pearce playing for Freo but you had Hamlng emergency score of 52 to come in for loophole agent Adamson. Pearce on bench unable to help you out.
You lead currently by 18 points. Newnes may get that in time left and scaling. Maybe I can still play your Muppets....

i locked in hamiling thinking pearce wouldnt give me much more but the little bit more could have got me the win oh well thems the breaks and im surprised i made it this far to be honest team is far from a premiership team thats for sure.

Erich's mob will be favourites for Steve Bradbury Cup. I see they are getting a big score to beat Goodies Guns.
That advances them to prelim's and they got less injury issues than rest of us I think.

That's what I like to hear! Nah there's still a long way to go, anything could happen yet. Hopefully my 2722 (after scaling) is enough to net me the highest score of the season.

It was a close contest in the end Maso - nerve wracking stuff, especially as I lost two other matches by 6 and 9 points. Commiserations, but best of luck to you for next week.

Nice work Erich - it looks like you have knocked me off for highest score, and by quite a big margin as well. Well done.

Thanks RB! Still a few rounds for yourself or someone else to pinch it. Good luck for the rest of the finals!

Interesting finals series, the top two ranked teams Don't Argue and Caleb's Kings straight through to the Preliminary Finals. The 3rd and 4th ranked teams Goodie's Guns and Philzsay to meet in one semi final, while the 7th and 10th ranked teams Maso's Muppets and Take No Prisoners meet in the other semi.

So will Erich continue to form and go all the way to Premiership glory or can Oz continue his good luck in this league to steal a remarkable premiership??

I doubt it. My only luck this year is to draw the only other coach in first week of finals that had stuck with Ablett on pine like me and out of trades like me. My cover just slightly better that got me through another week.
Next week v Maso should be close but think he is in slighter better shape. I probably will have McGovern back on pine with Ablett and Shane Edwards. I probably need him to have Buddy miss again to have a fair chance of pushing his team to line. However I actually would rather Buddy play as have him in keeper league team and want to win there. He is needed I reckon if I am to get up there. If it means being eliminated from cash league finals so be it. Done well just to last this long.
My tip for Steve Bradbury Cup from here. Erich. Probably the only coach left standing with half decent team to still score well as underlined by highest score in league in this round. He used two trades to get there but puts his team in ok shape and carrying no injured premiums. Phil should get Lids back and then Nick Nat so probably only other team that can test him in a grand final.

Sounds like Buddy, Nick Nat, Shane Edwards and Treloar will all miss for those of us playing this weekend.
McGovern confirmed out for rest of our finals series too.
Lids should be back and bench cover Jack Steele too for those in a position to have him.
Fyfe we all know will be back as gun premium.
Would love Shaun McKernan to be back too but doubt it going to happen as cover.

Took a gander at 4 of us playing semi-finals this weekend.
Phil has Treloar out, has to run with Cripps M8 like myself and also has Nick Nat out.
His ruck over is Griffin be brought in last week and mid cover will have to be one of Lambert or Steele.

Goodies has Beams and Buddy out. He can have Lambert cover for Buddy like last week and Steele or Glenn cover for Beams.
Last week he swung Hodge to midfield as cover via DEF/MID link.

Maso has Wines and Buddy out. He will need Lambert, Steele or Glenn to cover there.
Like me he also has Shaun McKernan but doubtful he will play.

I have Ablett, McGovern and possibly Shane Edwards out.
I will need to cover via Josh Kelly, Shaun Edwards and Hugh Goddard.
Hoping like hell Edwards gets up.

McKernan played at Full Forward for three quarters last week in the VFL, didn't do much and spent a quarter in the ruck where he got about half his possessions for the game (Info from a Bomber forum by a guy who watches and reports on every VFL game.) Not sure if that bodes well for a recall this week.

I have one trade left but are planning on not using it unless I can't field 22. Lambert is my F6 so he will play for me regardless. If Steele plays and is not sub I will use him as Treloar's cover. I will loophole Lever's score in the backline, if it is good enough Lumumba won't play in my backline, so if Steele is not selected then I will have a choice between Lumumba, Neal-Bullen or Daniel via various dpp to be Treloar's backup.

Hopefully one of my more fancied POD's goes huge so I can knock off Goodie's Guns!
