Sorry fellas, I was in Wellington for the Carlton game last week/weekend so had limited internet use and subsequently posted a bye round like score with a dud backline, Heeney on field and Selwood as captain

    Onwards and upwards.

Sorry fellas, I wasn't in Wellington for the Carlton game last week/weekend, didn't have limited internet use but still subsequently posted a bye round like score with a dud backline, Heeney on field and Selwood as captain

I do apologize fellas my season isn't exactly going to plan and scores are reflecting that and bringing down the league. i will not turn into a ghost ship and will do my best to get the boys up each week.

With you both boys. Every 50/50 decision I've had to make this season I've managed to get spectacularly wrong. Many thanks to Zim for letting me sneak home last week for the win. Was starting to think I might go through the season without a win and have to negotiate my exit from SCS due to acute embarrassment - lol.

Will struggle to get a preview for this round, but looking the goods for getting one churned out next week. Apologies for going AWOL with the previews, new addition to the MU household has left me knee deep in merconium, chained to a change-table, and testing the limits of human endurance without sleep.

Your team looks quite solid Maso, better than your ranking suggests. Anything can happen in a bye round too

I'm hoping big Jezza Cameron can get on to a couple of bags of goals before getting moved on in rnd 13 for a premo mid, hopefully one that can perform each week unlike some of the ones i already have. Need to be full strength and firing on all cylinders ready for round 16 and my Nemesis St James FC

Yep it's never over until the fat lady sings! An early injury, a surprise 100 from a rookie....

Last Monday in my family league match I had Oxley & Lumumba verses Tom McDonald, Vanderberg, Hogan and 2 points. Thought I was gone, but I won

Quick recap on what it all means:

"Total Wins" = Based on total number of wins if each team were to have played each of the other 17 teams every round. 10 rounds in, each team's score is out of a total 170 games.

% = League percentage used to differentiate those on same number of total wins.

17's = How many times a team has scored the weekly highest score across the league.

0's = How many times a team has scored the lowest weekly score across the league.

Difference = The difference between your league standing and your ladder position on the "luck of the draw" ladder - A zero means a team is positioned exactly where it should be, relative to the draw. A positive difference means a team has been somewhat "lucky" to record the number of league wins relative to other team's who scored higher in a particular week, but still lost. A negative difference means the opposite (i.e. you've been unlucky) - lol.

Luck Rating - 1 = be wary crossing the road - 18 = you should buy a lotto ticket!!!

So in terms of "Playing To Win" - your boys are leading the pack of 3 teams who have a bit of a break on the competition in terms of dominance and consistency. If you were to have played every team each round, you would have won 113 from 170 total match-ups. Compared to your 4 from 10 in the head-to-head league competition. (i.e. 66% win/loss ratio, compared to 40% ratio in league comp).

    For your losses:

    Round 1 - 7 point loss - You scored 15th highest score - Courtesans scored 14th.
Round 3 - 143 point loss - Shaw Bet scored 4th best score - your team scored 13th highest across the league
Round 4 - 23 point loss - Mr_Arrogance scored second highest score of the week across the league, while you scored the 4th highest.
Round 5 - 3 point loss - You and Maso scored the 5th and 6th highest scores of the round
Round 6 - 156 point loss - Kakarot had the 3rd highest score of the weekend. Your boys came in 8th.
Round 10 - 84 point loss (bye rd) - Phil scored the 3rd highest score of the round while you came in 7th.

Clearly everyone steps up to the plate when they come up again your boys - Gotta keep the faith that the tide will turn. Or maybe your stuck in a rip and will get further away from the shore as the season progresses??? I reckon it will be the former.

As for everyone else, a little all over the shop at the moment. Only 3 teams find themselves in the same position on the league ladder and luck of the draw ladder. Everyone else can say they've either been a little unlucky or lucky as we hit the business end of the season.

Any chance of a late out?

Currently have a 1 point lead lol. He has Selwood to come.
