I meant to update my predictions before round one to reflect any new information/change of view pre-season, but better late than never!

I'm trying to ignore the effect of, eg, players like NN or Priddis scoring monsters in round one as well.

    Changes as follows:

McVeigh to, say, 98 given likely slow start
    Yeo out of top rung
Laird to 93 given history and strong NAB (probably a notable omission initially)
    KK added to next rung

Pendles to, say, 120 given Swan's injury
Beams reassess later on for potential slow start on return

    Gawn added to next rung

Zorko to 102 given Beams' injury
Roughy on watch for potential slow start on return

    Thoughts again welcome!

A pretty high level of agreement in the recent predictions. Everyone seems to have Rocky around the 115 level, eg, and other than R2 there's not a lot of variation in the names amongst the top selections.

I've built my team around my predictions, so I have 11 of my first XXII selections, plus Boomer and NicNat (on the next rung) and Libba (super cheap).

How many of your predicted top scorers have you started with?

Well, I think we now know who was the best predictor in this thread ...

Thanks Darkie, too kind. If you make enough predictions one will eventually be correct!

I've always liked the comment, which I cannot recall exactly but was along the lines of "Economists have predicted 10 of the last three depressions."
