The crows want Zorko for Cameron. That seems fair

Obviously I'm a Crows supporter but is it just me or is this not the craziest trade idea from Brisbane's perspective? Brissy were stone-motherless-last this year, have a new coach and are obviously at the start of a long rebuild. Zorko is 28 and probably won't be around when Brisbane play finals again let alone win their next premiership. Charlie is 23 and has a chance to be more long term relevant. Obviously Brisbane would want a lot more than just Charlie, with Melbourne's pick 10 as well a minimum starting point. Could be a win for Zorko too if he could get more money and perhaps a genuine shot at a flag over the next couple years.
    Go Crows!

are you still on mad Monday Drew ?

seriously you expect Zorko for Cameron ?????

why not ask for Beams as well :-)

Cameron wants out , let him go now and get something for him , or he plays next year very disillusioned and then goes.

I guess you start with the best player and work down the list until both parties agree.

Will all depend on what Gibbs is doing.

Thought you would put games into Milera and kept Menzel.

Zorko is just a laugh surely - if it was raised it must be the Crows posturing to get the most out of Cameron. Pick 12 (or some part of a Gibbs deal) or hold him is what I hope the club does. I'd like to think Gallucci steps in to Cameron's role. He has similar line breaking speed and is a good tackler and could be a nice SC option next year.

Milera I would like to see off the HBF/Wing with Smith injured.

I guess all clubs ask questions on all players.

Be interesting last 2 trade days.

Crows need to land a big fish , is that Gibbs or someone else , I am not sure.

If Cameron stays does he play AFL or SANFL next year , given the Crows and Walker's stance on commitment.

I am already going to get tired of the daily media circus of whether Sloane stays or goes at the end of 2018.

Gibbs or bust I think - there is no one else! I would pay up for him for sure - Cameron pick and a future second sounds fair to me but if Blues say no then organic growth part 2! Lucky for all their other faults the crows ability to get the best out of players is pretty good.

If Charlie stays he will have to fight for his spot as Gallucci, Poholoke and co will be raring for a go next year but his best is electric and i think he has another level to go to. I'm sure he wouldn't be left to rot in the sanfl on principle if he stayed in the same way that Lever played in the GF even those all knew he was gone. In my view Tex is just old school and is passionate about is club and the media love to sink the boots in when people aren't the most well spoken or have less of a filter. I wish there were more like Tex these days I am totally happy that he is captain of the club and will back him to bounce back from his bad GF day. With Lever I also think he was ****ed about taking a huge pay cut to keep him and then he walks for more $$$$!

Don't get me started on Sloane....if he doesn't sign in the off season I think we can mark down that he is gaaaaaaaaaaawn and I will concentrate on SC/DT lol

    Cheers mate

Yeah I think quite a few trades are waiting for all the other dominoes to full into place , will be a busy Thursday.

You would hope with Cameron , all sides are professional enough to sit down if a trade does not work out then you have a year on your contract , we want you in our best 22 etc etc but others are fighting for your spot.

Tex is a good Broken Hill boy , I know his dad quite well , and yeah he certainly is all about club , team and mates.

He has always promised when he finishes at the Crows he will go back and play with his mates at North Broken Hill , they all say he is still the same guy they grew up with.

Don't listen to 5AA then coz Rowey will be going on and on and on and on about "our boy Rory" every bloody day and how he will stay like Danger , like Lever.

Crow v Melb game next year could be very interesting.

Sam Landsberger tweeting the Gibbs deal is 'locked' and he's played his last game for Carlton!

    Edit: he backflipped (rather quickly)

Seems a lot to pay for a 21yo that hasn't cracked it for a game yet.

Crows have a pretty hard midfield to crack with Sloane, Matt & Brad Crouch and Richard Douglas in there. Galluci would probably be in front of him too. GC with Gazza probably going presumably opens up a spot for a ready made player too.

Crows also have sent pick 54 and next years fourth rounder back to the Suns as well. So really they've dropped 15 spots and gained a pick next year as well.
    Go Crows!

He can play a bit just quietly, watched him a bit in the sanfl the last couple of years, surprised he didn't get a run In The seniors personally. Typical in and under and reliable for 20+ Tackles well and I'd say above average disposal for a player of his type. if he's named round 1, and he will be, he'll be locked away in my side from the get go.

His back half of the year was very impressive, handful of 30+ games with double digit clearances.

Bryce Gibbs is a Crow after Carlton and Adelaide put a last-minute misunderstanding on Wednesday behind them to finally sign off on a deal that's been more than a year in the making.

    Under the deal:

    - Carlton received pick Nos.10, 16, and 73 in this year's draft and the Crows' 2018 second-round pick.

    - Adelaide received Gibbs, No.77 and Carlton's 2018 second-round and third-round picks.

Not happy with trading our first rounder next year, But I think I really like this... So along with our first 2 picks.. We now have 13,21,26,32,37 in this years draft... 5 picks in the first 2 rounds should next us some quality young kids. Not mentioned below, but we also get Gold Coasts 2nd round pick next year, so if we finish around 6th and GC finish second last next season... we get all those picks for just pick 50 and a 7 pick downgrade from our first next year.

Suns get Eagles' future first-rounder in swap

GOLD Coast has secured a future first-round draft pick from West Coast in a complicated deal that could help it land Fremantle's Lachie Weller.

The Suns have sent the Eagles picks No.21, No.26 and No.37, and in return received the Eagles' 2018 first-round pick and this year's No.50 selection.

West Coast has been keen to get its hands on more top-50 selections in this year's draft following the exit of a number of veteran players.

Gold Coast, meanwhile, is attempting to secure young Docker Lachie Weller but has hit roadblocks with Fremantle, which is demanding a top-four pick from the Suns.

Should work out well as long as WCE can finish at least top 8-10 next year.

I'm pretty confident of us finishing at least top 6. Getting Naitanui & Lycett back will be massive, gives us first use of the ball again. We are in talks to get one of Brisbane or Gold Coast's home games as well next year so 13 games at a new packed stadium should set us up pretty well.

If we nail all our picks this year... It will set us up for years.
