I haven't done any research, but I would think VFL Park Waverley, and The Junction Oval would be 2 others.

Yes, it was the East Melbourne ground.

no Grand Final in the first year, was a round robin

mis read the question, they played in the first tied grand Final

confusing myself, they must have won 2 premierships which not have final series.

    so 14 flags + 1 draw + 14 losses would equal 29 GF appaerances

That's only 15 Premierships, however you are certainly warm.

    huh

    14 flags from Grand Finals
2 flags where there was no Grand Final

    = 16 flags

Missed the third sentence. Details, if that is your answer.

We have a plethora of Essendon supporters on the site, where are they now?

Other one was 1924 which was also a round robin finals. Since Essendon were Minor Premiers and won the round robin series no GF was needed.

Correct. However, Essendon lost their last game of the year losing to VFA Premiers North Melbourne, who along with Hawthorn and Footscray, joined the VFL the following season.

    Trivia

Toby Greene is the current holder of an all time career ave/game stat. He has averaged more of this stat per game, than anyone else in the history of the game. Dusty will probably win the Brownlow this season, and I expect him to take over as the holder of this title from Greene in the first 5 or 6 weeks of the 2018 season.

    What stat might that be?

Are we assuming a minimum of at least 25 games or something like that? Because everyone's favourite mini-Dusty, Sam Powell-Pepper, averages 4.15 clangers per game.

    That beats Greene on 3.81.

That was my guess at the possible answer to the trivia...but to answer your question, YES those figures are based on a minimum of 50 games played to qualify.

Powell-Pepper needs to start adding a lot of things to his game, very very predicatable, and his disposal is very poor.
