If Heeney actually snuck in as a fwd, locking in Heeney and Gray and starting from there.

Also think Daniher and Greene will be worth considering as a starting option or trade in. Good byes and should be around that 90-95 mark.

I think this is the year to pick Billings - will watch closely in preseason but he is my F3 at this early stage

Heeney should be a forward because he often started centre bounces on a HFF. Freako seemingly confirmed him as a DPP in a recent tweet.

Heeney, Lobb and Billings are my locks. Not sure if I'm going to put Sicily in the forward or back line at this point but he will be in one of them. Considering Curnow who averaged about 92 in the last 10 weeks but the type of player he is and the fact he is at an average team (and is a forward) probably turns me off. Walters is another interesting one. He averaged 108.7 after being put in the midfield from rounds 6-18 (not including the game he got injured) but there is a lot of uncertainty around his role and the small amount of evidence of his ability as a midfielder throughout his career. Gray is one I was pretty keen on but I'm put off by Rocky moving there and how much time Gray will spend up forward. Will also consider Petracca, Wingard and Parish (who I think is a forward).

Just wondering how Impey will go at the Hawks this year? Could he become an improved player under Clarko?
Probably not SC relevant, but shows brilliance at times.

Thinking of starting with Heeney, Greene and Billings as my 3 premo picks up fwd this season

Will also look at starting any of Buddy Robbie Gray or Mitch Wallis

Heeney, Billings and Lobb are my 3 at this stage. Will see how Gray is looking before locking him in and will probably run with one of Ah Chee/Bennell.

Daniher is on my 'i shouldn't but i might' list.

Not as much love for Dahl as might have been expected ... don't like him, or just better options?

I don't think there are a bunch of obvious better options tbh but his scoring was absolutely woeful late last year. Just having a look now, he only tonned up once in his last 9 games at an average of 79!

He's one I've had pencilled in since earlier this year. He was a shocker in the second half though, I remember jut crossing fingers he'd get 80s and above and sometimes being disappointed.

Interestingly his stats over the last three years are very similar despite much lower SC scoring:

As a Bulldog fan, it is hard to go near Dahl with McLean rising in 2017. My unofficial view is that Dahl may play as a small forward to try emulate how Richmond went about their premiership year.

Heeney and Billings I like for their upside. Greene/Lobb the likely R13 bye pick for the fwd line depending on cash. I wonder if the new MRP rules will help or hinder Toby? If Lobb is the no 1 Ruck at GWS he seems a logical pick - what are his hit out to advantage stats like?
