I have him ahead of Barry too for what it's worth, but neither I or the BF board pick the teams sadly. Like I said I'm hopeful he's there in some capacity but I don't think he will be. SPP, Boak and Rocky to come into the side that played JLT2 and I reckon he'll be one of the unlucky ones.

Bit surprised to hear the above opinions of Barry. Thanks for that.

Options here are too downgrade a forward premium to Christensen and use the money elsewhere, like to upgrade Lycett. Other than that I don't mind the slim backine.
I like this structure very much. You have 14 premiums if you include Petracca and no mid price nightmares. Lycett can be corrected if it doesn’t work and outside of this there doesn’t seem to be too much risk elsewhere. There may be up and down scoring between Walters and Greene but they have potential to go super large. Your mids are set and forget for 6 guys which is excellent and as long as the defensive rookies are named it’s a nice looking side.

DEF: Laird, Hibberd, Savage, C.Ellis, Naughton, Doedee (Murray, Keefe)
MID: Dusty, Titchell, Fyfe, Parker, Cripps, Coniglio, Brayshaw, Banfield (Kelly, Finlayson, Holmon)

FWD: Billings, Walters, Smith, Petracca, Sicily, Fritsch, (Garlett, Ryan)

    29.4k

Ellis and Parker are in and out being toying it out and tried one of Cole/Coffield and Zorko/Merrett would yous recommend it? only cause having Parker means i have 3 rd14 players in the mids and what if Danger comes and goes nuts i would probably have to get him after the byes,
Lycett still iffy my plan can change where i just put Parker to Brodie and Lycett straight to Martin and have around 100k to play around but time will tell, will change it million more times but would appreciated any comments

Current team. 215k to play with. Debating whether to get Danger or not, Sloane would drop out for Danger.

Laird, Hibberd, Savage, Coffield, Naughton, Doedee (Murra
Mitchell, Kelly, Sloane, Fyfe, Cripps, Brodie, Brayshaw, Kelly (Holman, Barry, Finlayson)
    Martin, Gawn (English)
Heeney, Billings, Mclean, Sicily, Stephenson, Fritsch (ZGL, Ryan)

Only worry is that D3 and F5 positions.

Nice looking team Bomber. Like the Sloane pick. Interesting pick in Mclean that could pay off with most Dahl

Seems a little light on in the FWDs for my liking though

Not much to fault with that team, safe as houses structural and Keepers wise.

Not sure whether that $188k is reserved for a quick and early Danger grab or not. If not, then you could look at Cogs up to an elite Premium or downgrade Christensen to a Langdon/Garlett type and upgrade Lycett to a proper R2.

Agree with THCLT, structure wise I think this is pretty spot on.

I prefer a 3-5 backline as opposed to a 2-6. As long as you can get 1 good rookie out of Barry, Banfield, Kelly and Holman you should be right in the midfield.

If there was one thing I dont like it would be Lycett in R2, I'm personally not a big fan, but this is your team, so if you like him go for it.

Not sure what you plan to do with the $188k, but the only change I would make one change it would be to find a bit more cash and get Lycett up to a set and forget R2.

    Well done.

I really like the structure of this team. Tom Cole can be used to replace a missing rookie in the backline or midfield through Finlayson. English gives you a small exit plan for the rucks. Sicily can go back. I think Bell looks better than Christensen.

If it were me I would drop Dalh to Petracca and then use your spare cash to pick one of Nank, Goldy or Stef instead of Lycett. All Lycett seems to be going for your team is creating spare cash you don’t need.

If a proper R2 can our score Lycett by 20pog then you only need Trac to match Dalh and you are in front.

That 188k could be used to turn Christensen into Petracca. If Murray gets named you should definitely consider him in the backline or should Barry not get named you can move Finlayson to the middle and grab Murray that way. (Creates a link with Coffield) The rest looks great.

Just experimenting with a No Danger/Dusty side.

DEF: Laird, Hibbo, Savage, Sicily, Murray, Doedee (Naughton, Finlayson)
MID: Mitchell, Zorko, Fyfe, Cripps, Coniglio, JOM, Brayshaw, Kelly (Banfield, Barry, Holman)
    RUC: Gawn, Lycett (Cameron)
FWD: Heeney, Billings, McLean, Smith, Petracca, Fritsch (Ryan, ZGL)
    $13.5k leftover.

Lack of Dusty/Danger for captaincy options obviously. With 15 (hopefully) keepers + JOM/Lycett. Only playing 5 rookies onfield. Looks ok for byes (keepers): 4, 6 & 5 out in each MBR respectfully.

We think alike. Pretty sure you only had like one difference to my starting side last season (although that one difference was Nick Riewoldt which was an instant injury). And again, this side is almost the same as mine. I just have Petracca over Christensen and a few different rookies/FDs.

I'd rather Dusty over Titch if you're keen on missing one of Dusty or Titch. Dusty is the better VC option as he has a high ceiling and plays a lot of games at the MCG early where he averages ~+8 pgg on his season average in most years.

I don't mind it though. If you just went JOM down to Brodie (or J.Smith) and Zorko to Dusty, Langdon to Cole/Coffield, it's pretty much my side. But some are keen to use JOM to get Danger reasonably early so that's a fair enough strategy in my books.

Probably only concern is 2 on-field forward rookies, but with your guns n rookies strategy there's probably no way to avoid it. Looking good to me! Prefer Crouch to Cripps? My thinking is same scoring different price.
