Cheers mate, I really like Neale I just have my concerns based on the fact the bulk of his brilliant scoring has been without Nat Fyfe or without Fyfe at his best and also the fact he has the R14 bye. He's still a decent pick, a very very talented and a player underrated by pundits. However, if he was carrying a sore groin all year then the 159 he got in JLT2 could be a sign of things to come.

Nank for me purely because Sandi will either be rested or injured at some point and miss games.

Definitely 2nd option with Zorko, Petracca and Bell. JOM will be rested at some period by Clarko

He's still a decent pick, a very very talented and a player underrated by pundits. However, if he was carrying a sore groin all year then the 159 he got in JLT2 could be a sign of things to come.
Neale, who has missed just two of Fremantle’s 92 games in the past four years, described the groin issue late last season as a “bone stress reaction” that left him with no power in the related muscles.

He said the injury had forced him to miss a large percentage of training sessions as he monitored his workload between matches.

Yet he was still among the Dockers’ best performers in an eight-win season, finishing second behind Bradley Hill in the best-and-fairest award.

“There were a lot of training sessions throughout last year that I couldn’t do anything in, which was quite frustrating,” Neale said.

“As a professional athlete, you want to go out there and work on your craft and get better throughout the week, which I probably wasn’t able to do much last year. It was sort of week-to-week, game-to-game and missing quite a few sessions, which can get frustrating.

“I think a big part of today’s game is the mental side of it.

“I feel like I’ve developed in that really well over the last four or five years since coming into the system. It wasn’t really something that I (had) focused on. But my mental preparation throughout the week has really improved and that sort of helps me get up for games.”

Neale, originally from regional South Australia, has been given the all-clear to play in his home State tomorrow when the Dockers take on Adelaide in their opening pre-season match at Strathalbyn.

Captain Nat Fyfe has been named in a strong side alongside off-season recruits Brandon Matera and Nathan Wilson, and top-five draft picks Andrew Brayshaw and Adam Cerra. “We’re fielding a pretty experienced team and we’ve obviously had a pretty big list turnover over the last couple years – I think it’s 22 new blokes – so there will be some youth,” Neale said.

“It’s been an exciting summer to see those guys run around.”

    Dusty, Kelly, Lycett + 40k
    Vs
    Crouch, Treloar, Nic Nat

This is assuming Nic Nat is healthy and named round 1 in the starting ruck.

Dusty + Kelly seems the better of Crouch + Treloar, as for Lycett i reckon he can avg 75+ with or without Nic Nat plus unsure how Nic Nat would go coming back from injury and also Trolloar himself still haunts me from last year rubbish eff%

I would go Savage cause i too myself have him over McLean due to the uncertainty's of bulldogs players of what actual position they are going to be playing

Going for Hurley and Kelly over Titch and Hibberd, can anyone convince me this is the wrong decision?

This is riskier but something I want to do because they are more unique. Hurley has a higher ceiling after averaging 108.5 after round 4 including finals and I feel that Titch and Kelly will average the same except Titch is more reliable and I'd prefer him if I had the funds to get him.

Wouldn't be too stressed about Kelly's reliability, the bloke didn't go under 88 last year from memory.

You're right he's a very consistent scorer but I think he could drop to 108-110 at worst and I can't see Titch averaging less than 115, I reckon they'll both average about 118 if I were to guess. With No Danger I also feel more comfortable selecting Titch to partner Dusty as C/VC because he pumps out more 120+ scores.

    cheers mate

This is the one Im currently mulling over, leaning Savage as i dont think there will be as much competition for points in his position as there will be with Mcleans.
