I think McDonald could be a good pick, especially if you can pair him with Sicily. Can't really split him and Hogan at the moment

I feel like Lloyd will be much closer to top 6 for his position so I'd go him.

I’m inclined to say the same thing. A couple of thoughts:

    - Lobb doesn’t seem to have had a good score in the ruck against a decent opponent yet.

    - It’s worth considering Lloyd’s role. My main reservation on him before the season was McVeigh and perhaps others playing seemed to weigh on his scoring. Is he perhaps benefiting somewhat by Hanners being out? He has only managed two big scores and they’ve both been without Hanners. Just a thought, but worth getting comfort on this if you can. I don’t think he’d be a terrible pick if this theory proved to have merit, but he probably won’t have the upside you probably want in that case.

    All,

    Option A or B please:

A: Bring in Danger as 7th mid premium however third mid premium with R14 bye (Fyfe, Dusty also T Kelly)

    or

B: Bring in Yeo as 4th defender premium with no other R12 premium defender

    Current overall premium structure 4/5/7 + 1 x R10

    Reps for responses.

    Thanks,

    CC

Faced with a very similar decision myself this week mate

Danger will be my 7th premium mid, Yeo my 4th premium defender. I think for me the decision will be swayed by who is left on the field/who I can loop after each trade. I much prefer the options available to me when I trade in Yeo...

Having said that, I dont think 3 premium mids missing in round 14 is too many, you wouldn't want more than that though...assume you might look at trading Kelly come round 14

So it's Yeo slightly ahead of Danger in my opinion

I think both Yeo and Danger should be in teams at some stage in the near future - Kelly isn't in my long term plans and for me I'll be looking to trade him ahead of his bye. I doubt you'll go wrong with either A or B this week just so long you plan to do both at some stage reasonably soon.

A few weeks ago this would have been a different answer but this week the easy call is to trade Doedee: the higher priced player with a BE of 90 who has been averaging under 70 for the last 3 rounds. Holding Finlayson's DPP for a round or so also doesn't hurt.

I think I will trade Naughton and hold both Doedee and Finlayson but it would be Doedee if I had to choose out of the two.

Bring in Lambert or Menegola to fwds? I can't see much to separate them with Lambert now hitting the scoreboard.

Trading Naughton to Oliver but can do it two ways:
Coffield to DEF, loops with Murphy (if/when he plays) at D6
Sicily to DEF, Spargo to FWD, plays at F6.

I like Menegola for his ceiling but Lambert seems to have a clearer role and seems to be building consistency.

I feel like Lambert may suffer when Dusty is back to full fitness and playing his usual midfield role. Lambert will drop back to a more forward / mid split.

His DT:SC ratio this year is very good though.
