Damn Savage has added 4% post JLT. Gone from 6.6 -> 10.5%. A lot of people jumping on after seeing his JLT stats (which is probably fair enough). Still relatively POD so he could be one that could differentiate a few if he starts strong early.

I've had him for a while, but he just feels like such a trap.

Let's see who won the award!

This is post round 1 and I have included a start % if the player was in the top 10 of their position way back in late Jan.

    COACHES CHOICE AWARDS - 2018

    Overall
    1 - Gawn = 64% (was 62%, start 54%)
    2 - Murray River = 62% (was 55%)
    3 - Doeadeer = 62% (was 56%)
    4 - Lyfe = 56% (was 54%, start 42%)
    5 - Dusty = 55% (was 52%, start 37%)
    6 - Fritssshh = 55% (was 47%)
    7 - TKelly = 52% (was 50%)
    8 - Holein1 = 52% (was 44%)
    9 - FreoBrayshaw = 51% (was 46%)
    10 - Laird = 49% (was 48%, start 41%)

    In - N/A
    Out - N/A

The Beard is the winner! Top 10 remain unchanged from pre-round 1. Four of the top 10 have been there since the start, although probably expected given who they are.

    Defenders
    1 - Murray River = 62% (was 55%, start 25%)
    2 - Doeadeer = 62% (was 56%, start 32%)
    3 - Laird = 49% (was 46%, start 41%)
    4 - Finlaydownson = 49% (was 37%)
    5 - Naughts&xs = 46% (was 36%)
    6 - OldmotherHibberd = 30% (was 29%, start 19%)
    7 - Murphy = 23% (NEW)
    8 - Sicily = 21% (was 19%)
    9 - Coffield = 17% (was 29%)
    10 - Yoyo = 17% (NEW, start 20%)

    In - Yoyo, Murphy
    Out - Keeffe, ScottishBrayshaw

Two new entries and very surprised that Coffield remained in the top 10 - guess people needed a donut. The top 3 have been there from the start, as were OldmotherHibberd and Yoyo.

    Mids
    1 - Lyfe = 56% (was 54%, start 42%)
    2 - Dusty = 37% (was 52%, start 37%)
    3 - TKelly = 52% (was 40%, start 27%)
    4 - Holein1 = 52% (was 44%)
    5 - FreoBrayshaw = 51% (was 46%)
    6 - TMitch = 45% (was 43%, start 30%)
    7 - Banfield = 41% (was 34%)
    8 - Bazza = 39% (was 36%)
    9 - USIndex = 30% (NEW)
    10 - NipCrip = 29% (was 27%, start 24%)

    In - USIndex
    Out - JOM

USIndex back into the top 10! - dead cat bounce or something more significant?? Half the top 10 have been there since the start, including TKelly.

    Rucks
    1 - Gawn = 64% (was 62%, start 54%)
    2 - Cameron = 30% (was 37%, start 15%)
    3 - Rubbish@cricket = 22% (was 15%, start 18%)
    4 - NicNat = 18% (was 17%, start 50%)
    5 - Olongo = 14% (was 11%, start 5%)
    6 - EasyRyder = 13% (was 13%, start 6%)
    7 - TheNankster = 10% (was 10%)
    8 - Martin = 10% (was 10%)
    9 - SPUD = 8% (was 6%)
    10 - Sauce = 7% (was 7%)

    In - N/A
    Out - N/A

Here are some stats to make your jaw drop - incredibly the top 6 rucks were in the top 10 in Jan!, almost a third of the Supercoaches made the same mistake as last year, and 13% are currently very annoyed at the rucks and achilles injuries.

    Forwards
    1 - Fritsshhh = 55% (was 47%)
    2 - Ryan = 40% (was 40%, start 16%)
    3 - Garlett = 37% (was 22%, start 37%)
    4 - Heeney = 37% (was 35%, start 39%)
    5 - Rayner = 34% (was 32%, start 33%)
    6 - Smith = 31% (was 29%)
    7 - Foghornleghorn = 31% (was 26%)
    8 - Petrocka = 31% (was 29%, start 20%)
    9 - Buddy = 27% (was 24%)
    10 - Stephenson = 26% (NEW)

    In - Stephenson
    Out - Billings

Again, like the backs and mids, 50% of the top 10 forwards have been there since the start, although there seems to be less change in their %s compared to other lines.

Ok, that is me done for the year. Hope the stats were useful. GL with your season

May have been used as a FDTP seeing as he was named emergency to take advantage of Doedee's score on the Friday night perhaps.

had no idea all this time who rubbish@cricket was, somehow English snuck into my team last weekend and whether it was the percentage selected or stickytapegate, I just joined the dots! Just wish I started him at R2 and not Lycett.

I feel bad it has taken the Capt of the Australian cricket team to lose his job for me to realise this - I feel I am responsbile for this - and that is more accountability than he took!
