Was at the games tonight, without having seen any stats or anything my couple of SC relevant ticks of approval (from the perspective of being there live) are Dow, Worpell, Guelfi, Sicily and Fritsch. Probably missed some, but those are the blokes that stuck with me after leaving tonight.

God I hope you are right, but I'd be happy with just making finals as a start.

The AFL promoted this with circus acts. This is what is missing. Dribble goals, bouncing handballs, ridiculously angled kicks and one handed miracle marks.

I liked it a lot. First trophy in the cabinet since we won the preseason comp with that bloke we bought from Carlton... or was it the season after. No matter!

I'd be very surprised if Guelfi played a game in the seniors this year... Essendon's 22 is as tight as it is, I'd be looking at McGrath or Hurley from us if any others at all to start with..

P.S I'm looking at Hurley as an upgrade target..

I was thinking Guelfi might be emergency for R1 atm with all the injuries to our fringe (Colyer, Mutch, Laverde, Francis out). Probably behind Langford/Green/Begley at the moment.
