All the best Jason, our defences are identical so I'm hoping that a couple of my MID PODs and Grundy can build enough of a buffer when my 'Red Rooster' forward line goes up against your 'KFC' star studded line ups.

I'm playing the long game this round with regards to trades so hoping that my current best 22 will be good enough.

Looks as though Titch has let me back into this match up in a big way.
Just need hibberd, lambert and one of Stephenson and fritsch to get me 215 points to win.
I’m pretty confident they should be able to get me that barring any major mishaps

FWIW, I started Zorko and got his 32 in round 1. Despite his 105 in his second game I decided to trade him out as a failed pick. He has been very disappointing as a starting pick and I know you must be totally ****ed off with him.

I almost never (get to) watch Brisbane games, might be another rule for me to avoid players that I don’t get a chance to see “in person” week to week.

Too long a round and have some spare time...

With 2 games to go (and pending any trades yet to be executed), here's how the matchups stands.

    Ricky Bobby: Fritsch (or Garlett's 21) + 2
Jibrangers: Dusty (or whoever Sho decide as his captain)

FLYING HORSES: Oliver, Grundy + 30
Jaca's Attackers: Nankervis, Dusty (or whoever Jason decide as his captain)

    Philzsay: Petracca, DSmith + 210
    Rowsus: Dusty, Treloar

    NaughtonWittsDusty: Hibberd, Lambert, Stepheson
    PC: + 214

    GC Vikings: Lambert + 65
Muppets F.C: Dusty (or whoever Craig decide as his captain)

    Goodie's Guns: Fritsch (or Henry's 48), Dusty [POD captain] + 63
The Darkness: Hurley, Hibberd, Pendles [POD captain]

Caleb's Kings: Fritsch (or Garlett's 21), Hogan, Dusty (or whoever Caleb decide as his captain) + 192
    Courtesans: Pendles, Zerrett, Petracca

Blaze of Glory: Petracca, Gawn (or whoever Tom decide as his captain) + 133
    SuperCoach Scores: Hibberd, Pendles

    Beasts FC: Oliver, Nankervis
    Brownie's Bandits: + 334

The 5 highlighted teams looks to have done enough or have enough in the tank to get them across the line, barring any unforeseen circumstances.

Jibrangers to remain undefeated, whilst both Philzsay and Brownie's Bandits to notch up their first win. Iain would be relieved to get the 'rub of the green' for this round.

The remaining 4 matches remains in the balance with Goodie's Guns v The Darkness the most intriguing as they both have unique POD captains to come. The loser will join Rowsus as the remaining teams yet to have won a match.

FLYING HORSES can join Jibrangers as the only undefeated teams if they can out grind Jaca's Attackers. Grundy will know what he needs to chase down come ANZAC day.

I'll roll with Dusty because it's likely the sensible option, and a bad day should see him get to an ok score.

having said that, if Oliver (128), Grundy (141) and Nank (81) repeat R4 scores, I'd need Dusty to score 110 to win.

You probably don't want to hear this, but since I also have Dusty, you only get Dusty x 1 and not Dusty x 2.

So effectively, the equation left in our match is: My Grundy + Oliver + 30 vs Your Nankervis + Dusty

    Using your scores from Rd4: [299] Grundy (141) + Oliver (128) + 30 vs Nankervis (81) + Dusty [299-81+1]

Dusty would need to score 219 in that scenario!

I don't think Dusty will need to score that much, more crucial is can he outscore Oliver by 30 points or more to make the equation of Grundy v Nankervis more of an even money chance.
