    Server down?

    Is this the same as DT but two trades every week?

    Yeah, as Herbie said.

    Same scoring system as RDT, but 2 trades every week, and that crucial point about prices changing after just 1 game.

    Thanks guys ... made a team and joined the group (both leagues full).

    Bit annoyed I didn’t get in earlier, I just copied my DT side where I’ve had Simpson all pre season, and he’s started well

    Poor first week with 2,090 to be ranked 15,530th overall.

    Zerrett injury, Hibberd & Fyfe stinkers, Naughton over Doedee all costing me.

    Hate premo injuries in the first week with a passion.

    2,103 for me, ranked 13,495.

    Looks quite tightly bunched with every point worth about 150 spots.

    All my premos got 92 or better except Merrett, so pretty happy with that.

    Not sure Bonner is still worth getting in the $400s?

    Does anyone know the pricing formula/rule in this format?

    I understand prices move each week, and it looks like they move by $500-600 for every point of variance against breakeven, but is it that simple?

    Players like Holman or Zerrett probably haven’t seen the scale of total price moves I might have expected - perhaps there is a carryover impact this week, as in SC?

    Hi all, I missed being in the AFL league as only made a team at the last minute, but have joined the group. Darkie, tooserious.net (don't think you need to join) have a stats page where you can get the price changes for AFL Fantasy - click on stats then click on supercoach and the drop down will give you the option to change to AFL Fantasy then apply filter.

    I really don't know how they do the pricing in Fantasy, Fan Hub have never released any info on how prices are calculated apart from the following in the FAQ...

    "Players' initial Price is based upon their Scores from the previous year along with numerous other factors. We do not provide exact details regarding how Player Prices change from then onward, other than to say that Player Prices are based on past performances, with most recent games having the largest influence on value."

    So we don't know if it's based on a 3 game avg or not, and unlike RDT & SC, the most recent game/games seem to have a bigger bearing on the Price. So would be very hard to work out without further info I think.

    Pretty rare I don't play a fantasy game, particularly a footy one. Played this for years, not this year. Doesn't do anything for me.

    Platform was v uninspiring last year, I trust it is a lot better this year.

    Thank you both, that's helpful. I reckon it wouks be possible to back solve the approach through some Excel work, likely by comparing price changes for players with the same prices but different scores, but this should suffice for present purposes! I'll have a further look at tooserious and see what I can figure out.

    The prices changed by around $585 per point compared to breakeven in rd 1. Tooserious is good for stats but if you go to Footywire they have all the break evens, projected price changes etc. As to the actual formula I am unsure but rd 1 this year was significantly different to rd 1 in 2017.

    L Murphy => O’Shea
    Merrett => Cripps

    The latter purely because we have two every week (I think!). Did anyone else do trades like that?
