Thinking of only the 1 trade this week, would appreciate any opinions/help.

Brayshaw to either Coffield or ZGL. Brayshaw to Coffield seems like a little waste, only making 48k but opens up the dpp def/mid link with Finlayson; or
Brayshaw to ZGL, makes over 100k but obviously missing Coffield's scoring and cash making potential plus the def/mid link.

Which of the above trades would any of you do? Thanks, appreciate any opinions.

depending on teams I think I will go :-

Sloane - > Coffield and build up the Bank.

will leave my rookies as :-

Finlayson , Doedee , Bonner , Murray (Coffield , Murphy)
    Kelly , Holman (O'Connor , Garlett , Barry)
English , Fritsch (Henry , Keeffe)

Hoping for Murphy , O'Connor & Barry to be named again or cash generation is going to be a issue.

    Rd 6 Bonner - > Yeo
    Rd 7 Lycett (R3) - > Premium Forward (Greene , Heeney , JJK)
    Rd 8 Holman - > Zerrett (maybe)

need to let my cows moo.

With the news that venebles has gone down, thoughts on breaking the age old rule of bringing in guelfi a week early? This would provide a one up one down opportunity next week. Please note I already have ZGL

Keefe to coffield. Has played good part in the early rounds in order to establish rookie scoring trends. Now it's probably best to get someone in that is playing and mooing. Next week Bradshaw to Mira via coffield?

Considering two trades. I have Jelly and now the type of injury is known it becomes hard to keep him. I could take Cogs but I am sure as soon as I bring him in he will stop producing those good scores. But the trade makes me 73k and assists with my other trade which will would be Sicily switched to defence for Hibberd and then R Gray into the forward line. I am waiting on Marchbank to come back in defence and cannot have Laird holding the fort while Hibberd doesn't pull his weight. Anyone with any thoughts on alternative to Cogs? Dependlebury or Sidebottom?

Current mids Titchell, Martin, Fyfe, Kelly, Cripps, JOM, T Kelly, Holman, Banfield, D Fog and O'Connor. JOM is transitioning nicely into Danger in the next couple of rounds which is what I had hoped for from the start.

My comment was in reference to HF's post as above.

Not trading Mirra in this week but planning to next week when he's on the bubble and if he's named for a third game.

If the money is not really needed in the short term, then Coffield sounds like the better choice to me.

Considering brayshaw/Coffield which gives mid/ def link with Finlayson

Also considering Ryan to ZGL if he is back.

If ZGL doesn’t return will consider Billings to Gray/McLean. Billings b/ even of 146 either a trade of keep for the rest of the year scenario, may grab Gray before he becomes out of reach

You are right Nathan. Oliver is a thought. Can I afford it? Yes. But Jelly to Oliver and still doing the Hibberd/Sicily/Gray trade costs me $50k and brings cash reserves to $316k as opposed to trading to Cogs which pays for the other trade and leaves 20k left over in fact. Something to ponder.

Was going to skip Coffield in hope of Mirra or Guelfi looking good to release cash. However, started to think Barry may need moving on given poor game on the weekend. dont like to trade low priced rookies, although, history tells us post round 7-8 new rookies become thin on the ground.

Not sure if Cunico is worth holding out for.

I believe the Statspro stats that I have been accessing are freely available for everyone (only the videos are for Telstra customers). You just need to select RC, HOW%, etc in the "Advanced options" tab after clicking "Discover".

I'm not sure if this link will work, but hopefully this shows the stats I've been accessing

Thoughts on going a week early on D Mirra.

    Allows me to:
    1. Get rid of LDU and pocket 100,000
    2. Move Sicily forward allowing only 1 on field fwd rookie (Fritsch/Henry)
    3. Finally bringing S Murray on field

Not a fan of Coffield or trading him in also? I’d try and avoid going early wherever possible but I think getting Murray’s points on field is pretty important.

Already spent 2 trades on rookies in the forward line for approximately 80,000 profit.
Traded ZGL due to injury as I didn't want 2 non cash-generating rookies and didn't want to miss out on L Ryan.
L Ryan was injured on his debut and then traded to J Henry.

I could trade D Venables to N Coffield but I'd rather select ZGL/M Guelfi.

Sounds like Josh Kelly is not progressing that well, but he may play next week, OR 6 to 8 weeks time, WHAT?.

He had a fair bit of groin problems last year, some weeks better then others, hmmm, that is not inspiring me to keep him.

    http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-04-1...to-face-saints

Kelly (groin soreness) sat out Wednesday's main training run, Lobb (knee) initially hit the track with the rest of the squad, but failed to complete the session.

GWS coach Leon Cameron said both players remained a chance to play the Saints, but the match committee would need to weigh up the risk of playing the pair.

"Josh is going OK, (but) we'd like him to be going a little bit better," he said.

"He's been doing some running, but the footy side of it is what I'm alluding to.

"He had a fair bit of this last year and managed it, but some weeks can be not as great as others.

"We're not concerned in terms of (having to) rest him for six or eight weeks, but we're making sure that when he does participate in full-on footy again, he can cope for the week after and the week after that."

Been such a frustrating start to the season. Only just nsde top 60000 but always feeling le my side s never that far off performing...

Laird Hibberd Finlayson Doedee Murray Naughton (Richards Murphy)
Martin Fyfe Gibbs Pendlebury Cripps Merret Telly Holman (Banfield Garlett Brayshaw)
    Gawn English (Olango)
Heeney Dahlhaus Smith Billngs Sicily Christensen (Fritsch Venables)

I see the issues as being too many players who are close without being absolute top mixed in with current failures (Dahl, Billings, Hibberd)
    Hoping that 'current' is relevant and these guys will correct so thinking this week of going;
Venables > Hurley (Garlett > fwd, Finlayson > mid)
    Brayshaw > Coffield

Would appreciate any alternate views on where I've gone wrong to put me so far back and better ways to fix my problems!!

Those trades look good. There's nothing wrong with your team. Just unlucky with Merrett, made worse by the popular alternative in that spot being Cogs, which has been a terrible negative POD for you. Reckon you've ridden out the worst of the storm and will be making up ground in no time. Good luck!
