I'd say it's too late to do anything about him now though so unfortunately you might have to sit tight as surely he'll turn it around.

    Kreuzer to Nic Nat.

Should have pulled the trigger this week but didn't. Have seen enough now to be convinced Kreuz won't be anywhere near last years level.

Same dilemma with Goldy. Not impressed by his last couple!

Would someone be kind enough to give me Kreuzer and NN’s new prices please. I can’t get on a PC but mentally want to be able to rage trade lol

Nic Nat BE 90, so will be about $481k.

Kreuzer BE 199 and scored 60, so expect he comes down from $603k to circa $543k.

I am going for league, so will likely chase Grundy for those overall, would compare Callum Sinclair who will give more points on ground until Nic Nat TOG lifts up. We keep thinking of NN as if he is running at his 74% normal TOG, this may come later in season.

Yikes that’s a massive hit to Kreuzer’s value. I recall reading NN would now start to increase his TOG but given how yesterday’s game played out, I figure they took it as an opportunity to further manage his workload.

I've probably got to look at moving at least one of Brayshaw/Dow on, neither are making any money and I think I've lost Venables for an extended period of time, so a bit to think about

NN was slightly down on his HTA ratio this game. I think the suns mids worked hard to shark his HOs and Shuey and co weren't able to get in the best positions at times. But the game was won and they probably didn't need to try too hard. There were also less stoppages as a whole in that game. 47:24 split so NN did shoulder more of the load compared to previous games too!

Kreuzer's new value hurts, instead of going Nic Nat, I think I might take the opportunity to turn him into Danger and play English at R2 for a few weeks.

Have been thinking of ways to do this myself actually. Would love to manoeuvre something to get Danger in.

If I end up trading Kreuzer to another ruckman it will be Grundy or Nic Nat.

Think getting Danger is the only way I can turn the whole situation into some sort of advantage, given I think Danger should dominate from here on and I currently have no way of getting him in thanks to the failed Armitage experiment.

It's risky as English at R2 is fraught with danger but he's looked impressive the last few weeks and would only be hoping for another few weeks.

^Worth flagging that the two that English seemed to be splitting the main ruck role with (Roughead and Trengove) were both listed as tests this week. Each got a decent number of hitouts in round one, and English still scored well, but it's probably worth forming your own view on the near term role risk if you're considering making him R2.

If I have the luxury of of a sideways trade this week I'm very tempted to go Stef to Grundy.

I know it's breaking a golden rule but I just think Grundy is that good this year and could go 110-115 whereas Stef is more likely 100-105.

Or either could pick up a niggle or injury next game and become ongoing headaches. I wouldn’t be trading a fit solo rucking Martin.

I think one thing to consider re Grundy is that Cox may not be affecting him much at this point, but Cox's role may not be that stable.

    A few stats:

    - Cox has played three games for a best SC score of 47.
    - He has taken 6, 1 and 0 marks in his three games so far.
    - He's had 9, 6 and 5 touches.
    - He has managed only 5 tackles so far.
    - Perhaps most importantly, he hasn't yet kicked a goal or a behind!

The Pies also have a large number of players to potentially come back in, many of them in the forward line.

We have looked a lot better the last two rounds, but surely Collingwood can't keep playing Cox, outside of the ruck, if he isn't marking, tackling, getting touches or hitting the scoreboard.
