Amazingly tight up top! It just goes to show how important the points gained from skipper and rookie loopholing can be.

Comments: An unexpected down week compared to the last 3. Must try not to make any(more) kneejerk trades.

757 points behind , and ranked 18,353
just shows a good week can rise quickly or a bad week just drop as far
interesting to see how close it all is, 100 odd points can mean the difference of 10,000 places
starting to pump my tyres up again

Trades Made: Ryan > Crowden
Trades Planned: Kelly > Gray ???; Brawshaw > Coffield/OShea
Comments: After a good start to the season, two drops in a row. The first a VC stuff up and Sicily out, the second a trade not made and or Kelly out. Need to get back on the up, which will mean some aggressive trading. Have only made 1 trade so far, so I can afford to get on the front foot.

Heroes: Laird, Savage, Sicily, Finlayson, Murray, D Martin (VC), Fyfe, Coniglio, Gawn, McLean, Ryan (C)
Villains: Pig, Holman, Bilbo, Fisher and Me (Rookie errors with some Rookies and bring cocky trying to trade late then not trading at all)... Cripps and Titch with tags hurt too
Trades Made: None
Trades Planned: Pig and Ryan to O'Meara (I know, I know) and Dave Mirra BMX Bandit (RIP)
Comments: Had Ryan to Richards in earlier in the week, which based on playing Murray didnt really affect my score on the field, but did throw me into a tiz when I changed it back before the bounce on Thursday. I then to'd and fro'd on whether to bring in Tierry Henry down forward for Ryan or Crowden House in the mids... I did neither and ended up trying to be tricky with Fisher on the pine and trying to loophole halfway through the game to Fritsch... Rookie error! Played the wrong card on Holman v Garlett/Banfield as well... WOE, IS ME!
Luckily played the right Captain move and was able to selvage something from the week... Billiings' inability to score cost me 5 leagues (SCS 02 I was never going to win, once Yeo Yeo went back UP the string)...
We live, we learn, we trade!
Danger IN next week!
Saying ALL that... MY best position EVER!

Trades Made: Lobb > Gray
Trades Planned: Brayshaw > Coffield, Hibberd > Yeo (maybe)
Comments: Tried to be smart and go against the masses by not starting Gawn, Coniglio and Laird. Traded in Coniglio and Laird after round 1, but suffering by having Nank over Gawn. Hibberd, Billings and Lambert also picks I am regretting, but I dont seem to be on my Pat Malone there. Score this week was neither here nor there. Will be targeting Yeo and Oliver over the next couple of weeks and hopefully can begin to right the ship

I'm also in the top 150 here, but I've made a fairly bad mistake which hopefully isn't fatal to my overall chances.

Heroes: laird, savage, finlayson; dusty, cogs; gawn; taranto, stephenson
Villains: simpson, billings [again], tmitch [but really me for doubting the mighty dustin in the wet], walters
Trades Made: jkelly to hogan
Trades Planned: billings to oliver
Comments: pretty much my whole midfield stunk it up, had some good luck though with the E on stephenson and taranto tonning it up which pretty much saved my score from total filth status. i'm done with billings, i think the saints' forward line is not a good place to have SC funds at the moment. loving savage's work though. had oliver all preseason but that pesky knee bandage spooked me week before the season started so i changed him to jkelly. this week i will revert to the original call. i must have gotten better at keeping the emotion and superstition outta my SC cos once there'd be no way i would've brought him in the week he plays the mighty tiges lol.
thanks IDIG for that ranks post- really canes knowing i've dropped 400 points thru onfield rookie and vc decisions :P
good luck all, back thyselves!
