the eternal optimist THC, hence he lines up in my forward line each week! can't justify trading him when my upgrades are coming together nicely. better alternative is to see the byes out then move him on if need be.

Can't argue with you on that front and that would also be my approach in that position.

Holding Billings all year and hopefully during the byes or in Rd15 I can turn Fritsch and Ronke into M Walters and D Mundy via a downgrade of Spargo/etc.
This will allow Billings to be looped with one of M Walters/D Mundy/ D Smith after the byes.

Question for you guys is... If you were to choose one to keep... Who would it be?

If I want yeo, one has to go. I'm just unsure which one. Billings better potential... Petracca useful dpp. If I keep both... I'd have to settle for Simpson.

If I had my time over again at the start of the year I would have speculated on Petracca over Billings. Billings never satisfied one of my favoured selection criteria for a player being whether they can win there own ball. He only averaged 7.3 contested last year and that dropped further this year to 6.4. Petracca is still averaging 10 contested possession a game even allowing for his finger injury.

I know its simplistic to give such weighting to one stat but I think its especially relevant when they are in a underperforming side as there much less easy ball available. Hence it would be Petracca over Billings to mine on potential considering the two teams prospects.

Petracca for the DPP. My plan is to end up with him at F7 with the ability to cover both mids and fwds.

If I had them both, it would be a double downgrade to rookies. A third-week buy-in of Ronke and possibly that 36-year-old looking 18-year-old GC ruck rookie.

Great criteria Yasi. I have looked at CP overall, however, when picking premium mids I look for contested possessions levels are they tend to be hard to tag (until maybe this year). Having watched Gaff disappear so easily, I can live with a Cripps getting 90 as a poor score, would like to see Dusty and Mitchell lift.

BB was answering someone's question between Petracca and Billings. Having said that, I am similar that Petracca may end up F7. Dont think 40 is his go forward average, although, if not back to 70's and at least see some +90 then he will likey be moved on. Need to have a plan, although can always change it.

Petracca I am not surprised about he was a bit risk/reward but Billings has floored me. I was sure he was an easy pick and Round 1 he looked great. I did not see the saints falling this far though and his confidence looks shot.

They have both ruined my year already and I am hanging on to the hope they will turn it around.... last week it was Petracca has gold coast he will be fine .... this week it is Petracca has carlton and billings against collingwood at etihad....surely this week they will be fine LOL

They are so cheap now I will treat them as rookies. They may go they may stay - I will just keep upgrading. This week I am trading Doedee and keeping billings and Trac... when I need Robbie Gray however......they may both go!

Looking at the INs for STK, Acres out, Sinclair and Lonie INs could help Billings midfield minutes which may have a postitive impact on his scoring.

Keeping billings... Partly due to history and the fact petracca has hardly shown any sort of premium form so far in his career...

    Nope, not going after all.

I would honestly take him outscoring my bench rookies (ZGL and Guelfi) as a win.

I hate Billings because he has lost so much value and I cannot trade him out over 2 rookies that have fattened.
