I currently have Austin & Rice as my defensive bench and hoping to slide Seedsman to D7 , won't have any money left after I buy my 3 premium mids though so hoping Austin & Rice moo as much as they can , expect Austin to vanish shortly.

I reckon Pittard had a reasonable run of 85-90 maybe in 2015 or 2016 , I remember having him in RDT and he was OK.

    Hibberd is cheap hahaha
I think Austin may stay, Richo needs to look at the future. Austin gets a lot of touches albeit uncontested, but he does set the play up. Hibberd I'm trading out, gave him a few chances, don't want another Billings.

Thanks mate. I just had a quick check through the top 50 and figured i would post my observations. Some players i wasn't specifically looking for, so i may have missed some.

    - Majority of teams have Gawn + Martin, followed by Gawn + Grundy.
    - Nic Nat in 3 teams in the top 50.
    - Callum Sinclair was in at least 2 teams.
    - Gaff in none of the top 50 teams.
    - Macrae was in over 50% of the top 50 teams.
    - Tom McDonald wasn't in many teams.
    - Oliver (18%) and Treloar's (10%) overall ownership was about double in the top 50.
    - Quite a few teams don't have Dangerfield in the top 50.

Hope some of this comes in handy for some people.

be surprised if Austin , Brown and Carlisle all play together , Austins scores improved once Brown went off.

Have a feeling Richo will be sacked.

Never owned Hibberd , did not pick Billings but have (and will keep all season) Dixon because I know their is a 150+ game coming.

I also had this concern but last weeks Saints selection video alleviated some of these concerns.

"I've got no doubt than when Carlisle comes back in, he'll (Austin) be able to play the third tall role ala Dylan Roberton".

thanks for that , think Carlisle is due back this week , but Brown may miss so we might have to wait until Rd 15 to see how it all pans out.

Ok seeing Smith is not on the current AFL injury update I guess he stays.

    Out: Guelfi, ZGL, McInerney

The extra cash from downgrading McInerney will come in handy when i finish my team.

Is Tim English worth holding for ruck cover, or should I trade him down for cash?

Is it crazy to trade out Gawn? i'm currently in a bit of a predicament where my team value is relatively low compared to everyone else in the comp, i have not generated wealth well with my rookies

    Was thinking
    Gawn -> Kreuzer (pocket 130K)
    ZGL -> L. Ryan / Apeness
    Spargo -> Yeo/Hurn

Who are your other rucks? Ideally you would keep him but only if you don’t need the cash to complete your side.

    R.Gray or Westhoff
    JJK or Wingard

Some tough choices for me this week:

    Confirmed out: McInerney
    In: Olango donut.

Other two outs are: Taranto and Guelfi
    In: Gray/Westhoff & Wingard/JJK

The rest of my forward line is:

    Heeney, Mclean, D.Smith, Hogan, Fritsch

Which 2 of the above options would you guys bring in?

Alternatively could just go Guelfi to Westhoff/Gray and keep Taranto...

It will mean I only have 18 playing this week but are JJK or Wingard worth burning a trade on when Taranto could potentially average similar anyway?

JJK is wildly inconsistent and Wingard is too and may not continue playing midfield minutes. The positive with him is he has averaged 90 consistently before I just don’t know if it’s worth while trading Taranto to him?

Negative side would mean down to 9 trades after the other 2, upside the forward line would then have Wingard or JJK to rotate as F6 and F7 with Fritsch.

JJK potential to go large could help too as they play later for most of the year if Fritsch or Hogan score poorly.

    Current trades
Out: C Spargo, M Guelfi, In: R Gray, C Wingard.

Considering trading Fritsch to one of the WC rookies. Traded in L Ryan in Round 3 as ZGL was injured and then traded L Ryan out in RD4. Brining L Ryan in again would free up 220,000 and then he would be traded to a loophole player later in the season freeing up around 180,000 thus 400,000 in total.

    Current RD14 plan:
Out: E Phillips, B Ronke, In: P Ahern, P Cripps (via M Walters)
    Post Byes plan (Rd 15-18):
    Out: L Austin, N Holman, In: J Lloyd/J Webster, D Martin

    Ideal team post byes:
    Def: R Laird, K Simpson, J Sicily, E Yeo, M Hurley, J Lloyd/J Webster, (T Doedee, I Cumming)
    Mid: P Dangerfield, N Fyfe, T Mitchell, C Oliver, J Kelly, D Zorko, P Cripps, D Martin, (S Coniglio, P Ahern, C Ballard)
    Ruck: M Gawn, M Kreuzer, (D Cameron)
    Fwd: I Heeney, T McLean, R Gray, M Walters, D Smith, C Wingard, (J Billings, loophole)

Or I could select J Brander instead allowing me a Def/Fwd switch between him and Sicily but I will have 150,000 left as he will not be traded and this means that I would have to select a D6 between 350,000 to 450,000 which depends on whether Austin is traded to J Smith next week as that allows me to select a D6 over 400,000.

Therefore should I trade Fritsch to Ryan or Brander.

    Greatly appreciate any thoughts/feedback.

In an ideal world, it would probably be better if JJK played early rather than late in the round for loopholing purposes, but I see where you are coming from.

I'm quite puzzled as to whether to trade Buddy Franklin in, or look at one of the forwards coming off of a bye.

    My team before trades:

Yeo, Laird, Simpson, McGovern, Sicily, Austin, Coffield, Murphy

Mitchell, Dangerfield, Martin, Fyfe, Heeney, McLean, Phillips, Walters, Zorko, Kelly (GWS), Merrett

    Gawn, Naitanui, McInerney

Petracca, Kennedy, Spargo, D Smith, Fritsch, Guelfi, Poholke, T Smith

14 trades, 126.4k in the bank.

To get 18, if selection is kind to me, I'll need to trade at least two bye players in Mid, Fwd and Ruc. Spargo and Petracca are the frontrunners to be given the flick, although trading Gawn is a possibility.

I'm grabbing Liam Ryan with one trade, but I'm unsure whether to grab Gray, Wingard, Franklin, Giro or even Tom Lynch with the other. I've been looking at Robbie for a few weeks, so he's probably the frontrunner.

Dont think he is coming back anytime soon, may get a few games at year end. No one to trade him down to that is playing. Would hold off in hope of a ruck coming on the scene, like a Darcy Cameron. Dont expect Jones to last this week unless Freo think he has done enough to be a second ruck (Apeness appears more likely).
