    For mine, it would be great if he provided coverage for the remainder of the season but it’s more likely he makes way for Darling when he returns. To me this is no big deal as he is really just needed for his scores over the remaining byes and he can then become a floating donut.

    Provides a handy link with Sicily too which could be useful.
    it really depends on your current structure. if you have TMac, i dont think he will serve much purpose but if you need cover and strugglign to get 18 on the park, then go for it

    my current forward line is: heeney, buddy, devon smith, mclean, gray,

    i have one more upgrade to go to complete my forward line. I have walters in my mids and i will be trading in tmac next week to my defence.

    i am leaning towards westhoff. Port have a soft draw coming up. they play approx 8 games at home and only 2 teams that are currently in the top 8. Westhoff avg 111 in the wins without ryder and 99 in there wins with ryder in the team.

    any thoughts on westhoff or another forward that i might be missing?

    Trades almost locked:

    ZGL to JJK
    Guelfi to Ryan (WCE if named)
    Coffield to Redman/ Holman ( don’t need the points, just the cash made)

    Leaves me 16 premiums on field this week but allows me to have 20 on field next week which is the toughest bye round.

    Next week following 3 upgrades:

    Savage to Hurley
    Doedee to Yeo
    Fritsch to Oliver

    Pretty happy with 15 premiums on field next week

    Yeah no Tommy Mac so Brander would create the link.

    Got Simpson already.

    Yeo was my other consideration but he is a rollercoaster and have been burnt by him before plus he's 37k more.
    Also I've done the sums and by going Hurn over Yeo it allows me to do my final upgrade which will be Holman to a premium mid of my choice aside from Macrae.
    If I went for Yeo then my options would be limited.

    Why not save yourself the trade and just swing Walters forward when he's back?

    Hurn for me.Definite POD in defense and Westoff likely to tail off in scores like prior years

    I really want cover between mids and fwds. My cover was out of rocky and Walters. Given Walters had the dpp and he was really cheap I went with Walters.

    Can anyone tell me why Brodie only played the last 2 games and not earlier in the season?
    Was he injured or just not picked? Trying to work out his JS.
    Thanks.

    Not picked, mate. So JS is a bit iffy I believe.

    Think I've got my trades sorted this week. Looked long and hard at Rockliff for M9 but after some jiggling will burn the extra 100k and get Dusty for that spot instead - a bit of insurance in case he goes bang later on.
    Going Brander early because I need an extra playing player for this round and he'd be just as useful as a donut swingman if he gets dropped.

    Whitfield -> Simpson
    Fritsh + Spargo -> Dusty + Brander

    Brodie wasn't picked before Gold Coast had their run of injuries and bad losses. Surely Dew would want to get games into the kids now...

    They could be 'blooding' one or two more kids for this coming round...not sure whether Brodie falls into that category!

    Not sure how I miscounted before but if Duman isn't named I will only have 14 on field before trades this week which is annoying

    Questionable on Brodie.

    Anyone have any information on Wines? Scored well last week, but has 2 particularly bad scores this season.

    Did anything happen in rounds 6 and 11 or was he just average? Considering him at $472k for sure
