I'll be keeping an eye on Scott Jones today. 117.3k Freo ruckman in his second game. May go English to Jones next week to generate some cash; plus having an extra body on field when Gawn and Goldy are benched won't hurt. All assuming he stays in the side next week of course!

On the downside though it does seems like a very short sighted move especially if he is dropped soon and he doesn't have d/f flexibility.

Pretty straightforward for me next week I think with fritsch and guelfi to Yeo and Brodie. Have Devon Smith to JJK in the emergency box if carnage strikes again (or remains struck).

I'm fairly set on Ronke and Holman > JJK and Gaff.

Unless you already have an R/F in your forward line, McInerney won’t give you the 3 INs you desire.

All I know right now is that 3 Keepers will be joining my team...who goes out will depends on budget and teams.

Note that Rd13 is the start of 5 consecutive rounds where we have a Thursday night game, don’t get caught out!

Love Thursday night footy, feels like the working week is shorter.

Are there any rookies on the bubble or even only played 1 game from the teams that have had a bye? I'll need to go early on someone and ideally they play.

    I like it.

Just not sure why they do it in bye rounds when there are less games.

Johnson for us (Port) is a chance, has played 2 but is 199k.
R.Smith for dogs played the last 2 (158k defender)
Brodie 187k Mid played 2 for GC.

Otherwise not a heap else that i can find.

Teams would be on a five day break to accommodate a Thursday night game. The AFLPA are trying to avoid that scenario like the plague.

Going to keep Guelfi as F7 post the byes i reckon. He has the ability to find a lot of the ball, which most other rookies don't.

If his disposal cleans up he can easily average 75-80.

Very good point ... I had wondered why they did this, seemed quite poor planning until you pointed this out.

In addition to what QI has mentioned, the following could also be options provided they are selected to play in Rd13:

S Giro (FRE), MID $102,400 [scored 39 in Rd11, will be on the bubble]
S Jones (FRE), RUC $117,300 [scored 49 in Rd11, will be on the bubble]
M Apeness (FRE), FWD $153,700 [scored 70 in Rd11, will be on the bubble]
