Lol, I'm so tempted by Sergio Aguero. Pretty cheap, although as you say so many big gun strikers for City.

If your going to,punt on one it has to be dzeko IMO. I don't think augero will feature in the first 11 this week.

I had cazorla and rvp last year but both have not made the first draft this year...could live to regret those decisions...where to invest very limited funds is the question!! That said, team feels fairly settled now...

    3 teams still incomplete...

Have had Dzeko last two years but am firing him this year. His return last year was fairly up and down. New manager, could be different this season...

My first XI on paper looks unbelievably strong to me. Only 1-2 weeks before a Karnezis, Zorko and Watts emerges and it looks terrible.

    Guzan
    A Cole-Johnson-Zabaletta
    Hazard-Coutinho-Walcott-Cazorla
    Anelka-Chamakh-van Wolfswinkel

Definitely worth looking at those fwds for your team.

Tossing up between Philippe Coutinho and Santi Cazorla as one of my top end MIDS, both about 12 and a half million.

Would go Santi Cazorla over Coutinho just - he's got more pedigree. Depends a little on where Suarez ultimately ends up as well...Coutinho will be busting a gut to try and make the Brazil side for the World Cup, but I'm not sure he's quite up to it. I'm no Arsenal fan either!

The EPL lockouts are always nuts. Two or three hours sometimes before the first kickoff.

That definitely won't make it easier lol

My team is off to a shakey old start and without rvp could be getting even worse very quick!

    My week 1 team:
    Cech
    Ivanovic Mertesacker Kaboul
    Coutinho Hazard (c) Wilshere Shelvey
    Soldado Van Wolf Gayle

Happy with it but would've liked an extra mid or fwd gun in there.

Couple of teams off to a flyer with damaged ego already on 82!

Not sure what's going on with the scoring though, Van Wolf didn't receive points for his goal and Benteke didn't receive any for his 2 goals. Unless I've misunderstood how the scoring system works, they both should have scored at least 8 for each goal?

I just checked and pretties sure the scores are now up-to-date. Sometimes they have preliminary scores up (sometimes half time of games) and then come mid-morning they get the final scores of players up.

RVP with 26 is handy although Courtesans has him as skipper so he's off to a pretty good start.
What i have in my favour though is that he has no Chelsea players who have a double game week, plus I have Hazard as skipper so hopefully I can catch up that way.

Yep same for me, shattered I didn't load up on AV players (well Benteke anyway) but who would've thought Arsenal would've go down 3-1 at home

How many Chelsea players do you have? They actually have week 3 off so i'll be looking to trade Cech out (before Man U) and maybe even Ivanovic...feels like SC all over again
